Orlando Magic Names DAZN as Exclusive Direct-to-Consumer Streaming Partner For 2026-27

Orlando’s WRDQ TV 27, WFTV Channel 9 previously named over-the-air broadcast partners

ORLANDO, FLA., 3 September 2026 – The Orlando Magic announced today that DAZN, the world’s leading sports entertainment platform, will serve as the Magic’s exclusive direct-to-consumer streaming partner for the 2026-27 season. All Magic regular season games, excluding national exclusives, will stream on DAZN in the Magic’s local territory.

Earlier this month, the Magic named WRDQ TV 27 and WFTV Channel 9 as the team’s over-the-air broadcast partner.

“We are excited to partner with DAZN to serve as our direct-to-consumer streaming partner for live games, replays, pregame and postgame coverage, and original programming,” said Magic President of Business Operations Charlie Freeman. “Coupled with the Cox Media Group (WRDQ TV 27, WFTV Channel 9), DAZN will provide Magic fans tremendous access to the team.”

“DAZN is transforming how fans follow their local teams, and partnering with the Orlando Magic is another important step in that strategy,” said DAZN Group CEO Shay Segev. “Fans want a modern, simple and reliable way to watch the team they love, and DAZN’s partnership with the Magic delivers an unmatched experience. DAZN’s innovative technology platform and the Magic’s strong local presence will create a service that enhances engagement, expands reach, and establishes a new standard for how teams connect with their fan community.”

Live games, alternative feeds, and original content through a new team-branded subscription service will launch on DAZN later this month. Available on almost every connected smart TV, tablet, gaming console, streaming device, and laptop or desktop computer, the DAZN app will make it easy for fans to access and enjoy Orlando Magic basketball wherever they choose to watch. The Magic subscription on DAZN will be available as a standalone service and also available as an add-on for existing DAZN subscribers.

Dante Marchitelli will serve as the full-time play-by-play voice of the Magic and will again be joined by former Magic forward Jeff Turner as analyst. Kendra Douglas enters her fourth season as the Magic team reporter.

Fans can start the season with a free seven-day trial before choosing the subscription that works best for them – as either a standalone service or as an add-on for existing DAZN subscribers. A Monthly Pass will be available for $19.99, while a Season Pass will cost $119.99. Season ticket holders will receive a 20% discount on Season Pass subscriptions. Additional discounts and promotions will be offered throughout the season.

DAZN will also offer Season Pass Ultimate and Monthly Pass Ultimate plans priced at $139.99/season and $24.99/month, respectively. In addition to accessing all locally broadcast Magic games, Ultimate subscribers will receive a one-time 20% discount to OrlandoMagicShop.com (restrictions apply). Ultimate subscribers will also gain access to additional concurrent streams and IP addresses per account, plus access to alternate feeds, camera angles and multiview capability during broadcasts.
